(Literally it says something like 'creaking/squeaking/grating' but that sounds plain wrong so I changed it to weeping.)

欠けた月で象ったパズルは解けない
kaketa tsuki de katadotta pazuru wa tokenai
The puzzle traced by the broken moon cannot be solved

幕は台詞を待ち　開く
maku wa serifu wo machi hiraku
The act begins, waiting for the lines to be spoken
(in Japanese 'curtain' and 'act' for a play use the same word, so literally this would be more like "The curtain rises." However at the end, there's an act mentioned, so I thought this would be better.)



ずっと隣にいたいと口には出来ずに　遠のいてた背中
zutto tonari ni itai to kuchi ni wa dekizu ni toonoiteta senaka
I couldn't say that I wish to be by your side forever, and your back view went farther away



傷が増えても触れていたくて

P/S: I love Shou's lyrics. You'd be hard put to find more poetic lyrics. And to think that he composed the song, too. Because I love composing and writing lyrics, not many artists' works satisfy me, but Shadowplay was just awesome. Made me cry... *sniff*
